Dear friends,

Imagine a tired hiker standing on a mountain ridge at sunset. The sky blazed with impossible color–crimson, gold, and violet–silent yet shouting. No words were needed; the beauty itself declared the glory of its Maker. Yet when darkness began to fall and the trail disappeared, the hiker pulled out a headlamp and an old, worn map. The map didn’t replace the wonder of the sky; it guided his feet through the shadows.

Psalm 19 tells us this is how God speaks. “The heavens declare the glory of God” (v. 1)–creation reveals God’s power and artistry. But “the law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul” (v. 7). Scripture reveals His character and will. One fills us with awe; the other shows us the path.

Today, look up. Let the sky remind you of God’s majesty. Then open your Bible. Let His Word light your next step. Both are His voice. One stirs wonder; the other gives light and direction.

In Christ’s love,

Pastor Randy

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“God’s glory is revealed in two great books: the book of creation and the book of Scripture. The first shows us His power and majesty; the second shows us His grace and salvation. We are called to read both with wonder and obedience.” –John Calvin
