Ministry Programs
Mission Partners Abroad
In addition to special offerings and stewardship, we support and pray for our mission partners serving abroad. We believe that doing mission in partnership broadens our awareness of how interconnectional God’s mission is at the local, national and global levels. The one table around which we gather is God’s table and the one mission to which we are called is God’s mission.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is in touch with its partners in Lebanon and will be sending a solidarity grant to support the humanitarian assistance in the aftermath of the explosion. The Rev. Dr. Laurie Kraus, PDA director, said, “The citizens of Beirut and Lebanon have been hosting and supporting millions of refugees since the war in Syria began in 2012, and their economy and stability have been challenged by rampant inflation, high unemployment and currency devaluation — and now this terrifying and catastrophic explosion that has killed and injured many, and rocked the capital.”

Prayer Shawls—led by Patsy McGuirk
Over the centuries, shawls have come to symbolize shelter, peace, and spiritual sustenance. The ministry’s message of caring is simple, universal, and enduring. The creation and presentation of a prayer shawl, like all acts of generosity, enriches the giver as well as the recipient. We are fortunate at LPC to have this ministry for our congregation and for recipients around the world.
Music
Our small team of musicians and vocalists lead the Sunday worship service with traditional and praise music. We are currently in need of a volunteer piano player to accompany our guitarist.

Grace Resource Center Donations
We as a congregation believe in helping our community. We collect various donations of items needed by Grace Resource Center on a weekly basis.
